Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting after seeing Thomas Partey’s free-kick effort against Hibs.
The footage of the Ghanaian’s free-kick in pre-season has been doing the rounds on Twitter after the game, and fans have been blown away by the effort.
Now, the ball didn’t end up in the back of the net, but it was a well-struck shot that cannoned off the crossbar.
Partey was often critiqued for smashing long shots over the crossbar last season, but it seems as though he’s been working on his technique, with this effort dipping and moving through the air, coming a lot closer to hitting the back of the net.
Fans were quick to point out that this was a massive improvement from Partey, claiming that it may not be long before he starts smashing in the goals from range.
If Partey has indeed found his shooting boots, he could be a huge weapon for the Gunners this term
