Ryan Murphy’s anthology spinoff American Horror Stories recently aired its first two episodes of a 16-part series on Hulu.

Each one-hour episode will be aired weekly, with the exception of the first two premiering simultaneously, and will narrate a different horror story each week.

Paris Jackson was cast in the opening episodes, alongside American Horror Story regular Matt Bomer. Taissa Farmiga is expected to return at some point in the series as well as Evan Peters, who is rumored to reprise his role as Tate Langdon.

Episode 3 Expected Release Date and Time

  • American Horror Stories Episode 3, titled ‘Drive In,’ will air on Thursday July 22, 2021.

Given that the first two episodes premiered on Hulu at 12:01am ET, there is a possibility that Episode 3 will follow suit.

Episode 3 Plot and Cast Details

The plot for American Horror Stories Episode 3 involves the screening of a prohibited film, which leads to devastating consequences.

The episode is penned by Manny Coto, Brad Falchuk and Murphy, helmed by The Blair Witch Project director Eduardo Sánchez.

Black Lightning actor Madison Bailey will be joined by Catherine Adell, Rhenzy Feliz, Amy Grabow, John Carroll Lynch, Kyle Red Silverstein and Ben J. Pierce.

American Horror Story regular Naomi Grossman will also be making a return.

Part One introduced house flippers Michael (Matt Bomer) and Troy (Gavin Creel), along with their daughter Scarlett (Sierra McCormick) to the Murder House from American Horror Story Season 1.

Scarlett finds the infamous leather rubber suit and tries it on for size, before witnessing another person wearing the same suit behind her.

Scarlett, love interest Maya (Paris Jackson) and friends explore the haunted house further, and Scarlett’s “issues” regarding sinister fantasies are also explored.

Part 2 sees Scarlett’s bloodlust connection with serial killer Ruby, one of the Murder House’s evil occupiers, who both form a similar relationship to Violet and Tate’s from American Horror Story.

Elsewhere, Michael and Troy come to terms with Scarlett and Ruby’s wrongdoings and make a terrifying discovery that they cannot leave the house because Ruby killed them both.
