Tottenham Hotspur are without a number of players due to their international commitments, meaning young players are now being given chances.
The likes of Hugo Lloris, Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez, Ben Davies, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Giovani Lo Celso and Harry Kane have all been away with their countries and won’t return for pre-season for a little while yet.
New boss Nuno Espirito Santo needs players to work with though, and that means young talents are being promoted to first-team training in the meantime.
We saw Nile John shine in first-team training last week, and defender Maksim Paskotsi has now been spotted in first-team training too.
The Estonian defenders was pictured in action at Hotspur Way on Tuesday with the rest of the senior squad having been promoted alongside Troy Parrott.
Paskotsi, 18, joined Tottenham from FC Floria in his native Estonia back in September 2020, and he boasted an impressive goalscoring record of five goals in 20 Under-18 games last season.

Paskotsi already has five caps for Estonia on the international stage, and will now be looking to add senior appearances for Tottenham to his name too.
Tottenham’s centre back options are in a state of flux, and if Paskotsi impresses Nuno in pre-season training, he may well find himself in contention next season.
