Kean Bryan has been left out of Sheffield United’s pre-season plans with the West Brom target now a free agent, as reported by The Star and Yorkshire Live.
Well, he’ll always have that Tuesday night at Old Trafford.
The Blades had just eight points to their name when they rocked up at the Theatre of Dreams in January with nothing to lose but their pride.
But as Bryan headed Chris Wilder’s struggling side into a shock lead on Manchester United’s own hallowed turf, the talented centre-back at least secured a place in Bramall Lane folklore.
That most unexpected victory mattered little in the end – Sheffield United still finished bottom of the Premier League – but Bryan’s role in an iconic triumph won’t be forgotten in a hurry.
Unfortunately, with his contract expiring at the start of July, the one-time Manchester City youngster looks set to bid farewell to the Blades just six months after he powered a corner kick past a stunned David de Gea.
Will West Brom raid Sheffield United for Kean Bryan?
The Sun reports West Bromwich Albion are interested in the versatile 24-year-old, who was conspicuous by his absence as Slavisa Jokanovic put the rest of the Sheffield United squad through their paces during a pre-season training camp in Spain (Star).

“There doesn’t exist any change,” the former Fulham boss said when asked to provide an update on Bryan’s situation.
“The club informs me they’ve offered him the contract and at the moment I don’t have any information that we’ve received an answer.
“He’s outside of the contract and in this moment I am really not thinking about him.”
Championship rivals West Brom are looking to reinforce a defence that conceded 13 more goals than Sheffield United last season (76 in total), with Brighton and Hove Albion’s Matt Clarke another target.
