Social media influencer Addison Rae has grabbed a lot of attention after one of her old clips from college days recently went viral on TikTok. The video sees her trying to enter a bar while bragging about her huge fan following.

However, what is also being discussed is the fact that the video is being taken down from the internet. It is no longer available on YouTube, after being deleted in less than 12 hours since it was uploaded, and many have pointed if her team is behind it, ensuring her reputation isn’t hurt.

Why has the old clip earned fans’ wrath?

Twitter user Def Noodles claimed in a post that the 7-minute video is “being scrubbed from the internet by her team”. However, the part of the video that’s being extensively circulated on TikTok shows Addison trying to convince the security at the bar to let her in after he learns that she’s still a freshman.

The TikToker then goes on to talk about her huge fan following, saying “literally, I am telling you, when I was in here when it was fully packed they were coming to me with their phones on flash taking pictures of me.”

If the claims are to be believed, Addison tried leveraging the “500,000 followers she had at the time to get no-cover card” at the bar.”

She currently has over 80 million followers on TikTok.
