‘Don’t let Locatelli leave’: Some Spurs fans react to news coming from Hotspur Way

Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to Italy staying at Hotspur Way ahead of their Euro 2020 final showdown with England.

It seems as though Daniel Levy has given the Italian’s keys to Tottenham’s state-of-the-art training facilities ahead of one of the biggest games in English football history.

Over the years, Spurs have been known as ‘bottle jobs’ and their supporters have hilarious claimed that they hope Italy catch some of their past failures as they prepare for an epic showdown at Wembley tonight.

It also needs to be remembered that a couple of the Italian players have been linked with Tottenham this summer, including midfield powerhouse, Manuel Locatelli.

The forward-thinking Sassuolo midfielder started the tournament on fire, before having to contend with appearances from the bench, but still making an impact.

But he has been one of the successes of Roberto Mancini’s side this summer, so that interest from those in North London shouldn’t be a surprise.

Some sections of the Tottenham even joked that they should keep him at Hotspur Way.

But whilst Locatelli has impressed many at Euro 2020, the English fans will be hoping he leaves his worst performance to last as they bid to end 55 years of hurt.

It’s not going to be pleasant viewing for those on either side, but other than that, this is the right final because the two best teams have made it to the last hurdle.

Harry Kane has been involved in some pressure moments during his career, including playing in a Champions League final, but nothing beats what he will have to go through tonight.
