Graham Roberts has given his verdict on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp on Twitter.

The former Tottenham star believes that Skipp will be great for Spurs in the Premier League.

However, Roberts thinks that it is going to be hard for the 20-year-old midfielder for Tottenham in the top flight of English football.

Succeeding at Tottenham Hotspur

Skipp has started pre-season training with Tottenham, now under a new head coach Nuno.

The 20-year-old midfielder spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Norwich City.

The youngster had a brilliant season and helped the Canaries win promotion from the Championship to the Premier League.

The England Under-21 international made 44 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for Norwich in 2020-21.

Skipp scored one goal and gave one assist in those games.

The midfielder has played in the Premier League for Spurs before.

It is not going to be easy for Skipp to make himself a regular in the Tottenham first team next season.

The 20-year-old needs to have a good pre-season and impress new Spurs head coach Nuno.

Skipp is only 20, and not all players at his age get to play regularly for a big club such as Tottenham.
