The livestream countdown for Genshin Impact update 1.7 (2.0) has begun and fans will be able to watch the event on either YouTube or Twitch once its date and start time comes about.
As for what will be revealed during the preview, we know that Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu will be present. There’s also rumours that cross-save will be announced for PlayStation, PC, and mobile.
The newest version of the game won’t arrive for another week, but its forthcoming preview will allow us to see what miHoYo has been cooking up behind the scenes.
What time does the Genshin Impact 1.7 livestream start?
The Genshin Impact 1.7 (2.0) livestream countdown shows that the event will start at 05:00 PT, 08:00 ET, and 13:00 BST on July 9th.
It will be streamed on Twitch at the above date and hours, but the preview will then air on YouTube four hours later. Of course, you’ll be able to revisit it on the Tube at any time after it has been uploaded.
How to watch
Assuming it’s the same as prior events, it should last roughly 40-50 minutes long. It will confirm the character banners who we know to be Ayaka and Yoimiya with a four star Sayu, and it should give us the first glimpse of Inazuma.
When is the release date for Genshin Impact 1.7?
The release date for Genshin Impact update 1.7 (2.0) should be July 21st provided there are no delays.
An official launch day will be announced during miHoYo’s upcoming programme, and then the following version of the game in September will all be about its one-year anniversary.
It’s been a brilliant game since its launch, and here’s hoping the arrival of Inazuma meets the lofty expectations of fans.
