The late actress’ friend Stephanie Perry Moore took to Facebook, saying, “I got to stand beside greatness. Suzanne Douglas Cobb, I love you, dear lady. Thanks for always checking on me and for showing me elegance and grace walking.”
American Journalist Roland Martin broke the news on Twitter, claiming that several of the actress’ family members and friends confirmed it on Facebook.
Who is Suzzanne Douglas’ husband?
Suzzanne who was best known for her role in the sitcom The Parent ‘Hood, was married to the neuro-radiologist Dr Roy Jonathan Cobb. The pair had been married for 32 years since 1989.
They share a daughter named Jordan.
Dr Cobb’s Linkedin profile reveals that he is a New Jersey native. He graduated from Cornell University’s Medical college in 1983.
The Parent ‘Hood star’s husband currently serves as the Adjunct Instructor of the Biology Department at New Jerseys William Paterson University.
Dr Cobb does not have any other social media handles so far.

A 1995 issue of Ebony Magazine reveals that Suzzanne and her husband met on a blind date in 1987. The couple had only been dating for six months when the radiologist popped the question.
Detailing the proposal, Suzzanne revealed in her interview that, it was Christmas time and she was starring in a Broadway in those days. She had earned the NAACP Image Award for her lead role in Tap. When she came home she spotted a bag hanging by the mistletoe which contained the engagement ring.
The pair tied the knot on Feb 11, 1989, and has remained private about their relationship ever since.
