Tottenham are ‘scouting’ Norwich City playmaker Todd Cantwell, according to a journalist.
Dean Jones told the Football Terrace that, alongside Marcel Sabitzer and Miralem Pjanić, Tottenham are looking at the English attacker.
Cantwell helped his boyhood club earn promotion back to the Premier League last season, after they walked away with the Championship title.
But Jones shared how the midfield is an area of concern for those in the North London boardroom and Cantwell is a player they are looking at.
“I think midfield is an area they have been looking at anyway,” said Jones. “Even before all the changes came along.
“They have been scouting Sabitzer, Todd Cantwell and Miralem Pjanić has been linked with them.
“So, that’s an area they are going to look at with Tottenham, of course, they have been linked with defenders at the moment as well – Stuff will start to happen.”

Norwich have already sold one of their prized assets in Emi Buendia, who joined Aston Villa this summer in a record-breaking deal.
So, if Spurs push further with Cantwell then they will have to put serious money on the table for his talents.
Cantwell is a player that Spurs should be looking at because of his ability to put opposition defenders on the back foot, positive and energetic intent in the final third, ability to create chances and score goals.
But he isn’t and shouldn’t be the answer to Tottenham’s problems because they need to add/look at more than just the Englishman if they are to get back on track.
