Speaking on the Wrighty’s House Podcast, Ian Wright has been waxing-lyrical about Pedri amid links to Liverpool.
The Spaniard has been lighting up Euro 2020 so far, and Wright has been mightily impressed by what he’s seen from the young man.
The midfielder has been playing like a true veteran, and when you see him play it’s so easy to forget that he’s only a teenager.

Wright said that he’s been watching a lot of footage of Pedri in preparation for his punditry, and he’s been blown away by what he’s seen.
“Before I do it I watch them over and over and over and see what more I can see from it. It’s very hard to make people understand how difficult what he’s doing is and how easy he’s making it look at his age. It’s quite frightening with somebody at this age, because he’s just so good,” Wright said.
Perfect for Liverpool
Just imagine if Liverpool did manage to sign Pedri this summer.
The Reds are reportedly keen to bring the Spaniard to Anfield, and we have to say that he’d be absolutely brilliant in the Premier League.
A midfield that contains both Pedri and Thiago Alcantara would be one of the most technically brilliant midfields on the planet, and if Jurgen Klopp can unite that pairing then the Merseyside outfit could be an unstoppable force.
Of course, getting a talented teenager out of Barcelona is easier said than done, but if anyone can broker such a deal, it’s surely Michael Edwards.
