Matima Miller, a TikTok user best known by his nickname Swavy has died aged 19 after being shot in Wilmington, Delaware on Monday.

Just weeks ago, popular biking TikToker Fr3sh died in a tragic motorcycle accident.

Now, fans are mourning the death of another TikTok star, Babyface.s, whose real name is Matima Miller.

Who was Matima Miller?

Matima Miller was a popular TikTok user with over 2.3 million followers.

His username was @babyface.s, but fans knew him by his nickname Swavy.

The 19-year-old from Wilmington, Delaware, was best known for posting funny comedy skits and accumulated 97.4 million likes on the platform.

He was also big on Instagram, with 356,000 followers on his profile @oneway.swavy.

Swavy died in a shooting this week

Damaury Mikula, one of Swavy’s closest friends, confirmed on Monday (July 5th) that Matima Miller had died.

In a YouTube video titled “Rest up Bro”, he revealed that Matima was shot, saying: “He got shot and I just want to let you all know that I’m about to take over for that n****a. All he did was make videos bro. He is real as hell.”

As reported by Delaware Online, Wilmington Police Department revealed that a 19-year-old was shot at 10:42 on July 5th near the 700 block of Elbert Place in Wilmington.

Matima was not named by Delaware Online, but Damaury confirmed in his YouTube video that it was Swavy who died.

He was reportedly found with a gunshot wound and was taken to hospital where he passed away. At the time of writing this, the details behind the shooting are unclear.

Matima’s friend Destiny mourns his death on Instagram

An official statement from Matima’s family has not yet been released, but following Demaury’s video, his friend Destiny also paid tribute on Instagram.

On her Instagram Story, @II_destinyy shared a series of photos of herself with Matima and wrote: “I love you sm to the moon and back.”

She also added: “I just need a hug from you one more time.”

Tributes to Swavy are now flooding social media as fans mourn his shock death.
