Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that Leeds United and Barcelona have completed a deal over the transfer of Junior Firpo.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Leeds and Barcelona have just signed the paperworks.
The 24-year-old left-back will now undergo a medical before an announcement is made.
Romano has added that Leeds will pay Barcelona an initial transfer fee of €15 million (£12.85m) plus add-ons for the left-back.
Exciting for Leeds fans
It seems that it is only a matter of time before Junior Firpo officially becomes a Leeds player.
We would expect the medicals to go smoothly.
It is very encouraging and exciting that Leeds are wrapping up the signing of a left-back so early in the summer transfer window.

It will allow Junior Firpo to get used to the way Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa plays.
Leeds needed to sign a left-back this summer.
Ezgjan Alioski played as a left-back last season, but the North Macedonia international is a winger by trade.
Moreover, the 29-year-old is out of contract at Leeds and is technically a free agent now.
Leeds cannot wait forever for Alioski to make a decision on his future.
