Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg’s latest surfing video is turning heads on social media, and for various reasons! The billionaire shared a video of himself on his electric surfboard, waving American flag to John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads and the Internet users can’t get enough of it.
He shared the one-minute-long video on his personal Instagram account and captioned it, “Happy 4th of July! Um”. While Mark’s love for surfing doesn’t come as a surprise, people are rather amused by the wacky video as it has garnered a lot of reactions.

Viral video becomes a meme material!
It wasn’t long before people rushed to Twitter to react to Mark’s latest surfing video, as the platform flooded with mixed reactions. To some the Facebook chief’s attempt to honor his country seemed interesting, but he fell victim to online trolls who have expressed an unpopular opinion about the same.
One user tweeted, “What the Zuck? #MarkZuckerberg Goes Full Cringe With Flag-Waving Surfing Video”
Another noted, “I guess if your Mark Zuckerberg, you can walk on, oh wait he is surfing on air.. John Denver? No, just no.”
Another tweeted, “This should be the coolest thing ever but because he is mark zuckerberg he somehow made it weird and awkward. He looks like @BostonDynamics designed a surfing robot.”
One joked, “Who had “Mark Zuckerberg, surfing on air parading an American Flag” on their 2021 bingo card?”
Billionaire’s sunscreen memes explained
This also isn’t the first time Mark has been dragged on Twitter for involving in the same activity. Only a few months ago, he became the subject of Internet memes when he shared another video of himself surfing with his face covered in an excessive amount of sunscreen.
Talking about the viral video from earlier he told during a live-stream chat that he’s a “pretty pale person” who gets burned easily and hence had the sunscreen smeared all over his face.
He said, “I noticed there was this paparazzi guy following us and, so I was like, ‘Oh I don’t want him to recognize me, so you know what I’m gonna do? I’m just gonna put a ton of sunscreen on my face. And that backfired.”
“I really should have thought that one through more. That is just way too much sunscreen. No one needs to be wearing that much sunscreen,” he added further.
