Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson already has quite the trophy cabinet.

But the Liverpool captain is two wins away from probably adding his most prized medal to his cabinet – and that’s helping England win Euro 2020.

On Saturday evening, Henderson scored his first goal for his country when he netted his side’s fourth of their 4-0 thrashing of Ukraine.

And when that goal went in from the midfield aggressor, it sparked quite the reaction from England’s bench.

As England’s official Twitter account has posted, Bellingham was getting to come on a substitute when Henderson scored from a corner.

The highly-rated teenager could be seen with his fists in the air as the goal went in.

But when he realised it was Henderson, who he has become close to during this tournament, that scored, he seemed that extra pleased.

Henderson is a popular figure in the England dressing room and whilst he hasn’t been on the pitch as much as he would have liked.

There’s no doubt that his leadership skills behind the scenes would have been showcased throughout this tournament and will become even more important as the semi-finals dawn on the English.
