Tottenham Hotspur head coach Nuno wants to sign reported Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United target James Tarkowski, according to 90min.

What’s the story?

90min are reporting that Tottenham want to sign at least one centre-back in the summer transfer window.

One of the central defenders new Spurs head coach Nuno is looking at is Burnley’s James Tarkowski, who has made a total of 159 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The report has claimed that Nuno’s former club, Wolves, are also interested in the 28-year-old.

West Ham and Wolves interest

This is not the first time that Wolves have been linked with Tarkowski.

The Telegraph reported last month that the Wanderers are keen on the defender and are considering a move for him.

The report claimed interest from West Ham in Tarkowski as well.

Exciting transfer race

Tarkowski is out of contract at Burnley next summer.

A big offer for the defender could convince the Clarets to part company with him now instead of running the risk of losing him on a free next summer.

Tottenham, Wolves and West Ham are big and ambitious clubs, and it will be interesting to see which team Tarkowski chooses, if indeed they all bid for him.
