Netflix has just dropped their latest Korean horror film and fans are wondering about the cast who play the 7 hosts, exorcist and more!

The 8th Night is a South Korean mystery-thriller film, directed and written by Kim Tae-hyung. The film released on Friday, 7th July 2021 and has some recognisable Korean actors who star in it.

The premise of the film follows a Monk and guardian who are enlisted with stopping an evil spirit that is causing havoc and murdering people.

Lee Sung-min as Park Jin-soo

Lee Sung-min is a South Korean actor. He was born on 4th December 1968 in Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Whilst not much is known about his personal life, we can tell you about his career.

Lee works under ‘Hodoo Entertainment’ agency and appeared in his first on-screen role in 1988, in ‘Robot Star Jjangga’. Since then, he has been credited in over 60 roles as an actor. He is most well known for his work in ‘The Good the Bad the Weird’ (2008) and ‘The Spy Gone North’ (2018).

He has been credited for 2 roles this year in The 8th Night and ‘Gi-Juk’. Other than this, he has no other upcoming roles. Lee does not have any known social media accounts or fan accounts at this time.

Park Hae-joon as Kim Ho-tae

Park Hae-joon (born Park Sang-woo) is a South Korean actor born on 14th June 1976 in Busan, South Korea. He is married to Oh Yoo-jin and has 2 children. Park attended the Korean National University of Arts, where he graduated with a degree in Theatre studies.

His first on-screen acting role was in ‘Hwayi: A Monster Boy’. He has since been credited in over 20 titles as an actor and is most well known for his appearances in ‘Believer’ (2018) and ‘Misaeng’ (2014).

Kim Yoo-jung as Ae-ran

Kim Yoo-jung is a South Korean actress born on 22nd September 1999 in Seoul, South Korea. She has two older siblings and is represented by ‘Awesome ENT’.

Kim began first appeared on-screen in ‘Lady Vengeance’ (2005). Since then, she has appeared in over 30 titles as an actress. She is most well known for her appearances in ‘Lady Vengeance’ (2005) and ‘The Chaser’ (2008).

Nam Da-reum as Cheong-seok

Nam Da-reum is a South Korean actor born on 13th June 2002 in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. He attended Chung-Ang University, where he graduated with a degree in the Department of Theatre and Film Creation. He is now managed by ‘Magiq Entertainment’.

Nam’s first on-screen role was in the popular K-drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’ (2009). Since then, he has worked close to 30 titles as an actor and is most well known for his work in ‘While You Were Sleeping’ (2017) and ‘Hotel Del Luna’ (2019).
