Saul Niguez wants to leave Atletico Madrid, amid interest from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Liverpool and Manchester City interest
Both Liverpool and City have been linked with Atletico midfielder Saul.
Earlier this week, AS reported that Liverpool and City want to sign the Spain international midfielder.
Manchester United are also claimed to be keen on the 26-year-old.
What’s being reported now?
Mundo Deportivo are now reporting that Saul wants to leave Atletico.
The Spaniard will move to a club with a good project.
The 26-year-old’s release clause is €150 million (£128.97m).
Now, Atletico will know that no club is going to pay that amount, but the La Liga champions will not sell Saul on the cheap.

Encouraging for Liverpool and Manchester City
That Saul wants to leave is encouraging for Liverpool and City.
It will help in negotiations with Atletico, if indeed the Reds and the Citizens want to sign Saul.
The Daily Star quoted Barcelona and Argentina international forward Lionel Messi as saying about Saul in March 2021: ”A complete midfielder – he has it all.”
It shows just how good the Spaniard is.
Also, Saul is still only 26, which means that he is not at his peak yet.
Liverpool or City could get a phenomenal midfielder if they are able to secure the services of Saul.
