According to Goal, Liverpool are interested in signing Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins if they are to bolster their attacking options.
The Reds have brought in Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig, but fans are now expecting more additions to be made ahead of next season.
Another forward would be ideal for the Reds this summer, and they appear to fancy a couple of Premier League attackers.
Liverpool fancy Watkins
It’s stated that one player Liverpool fancy signing is Aston Villa attacker Ollie Watkins, who impressed in the Premier League last season.
Watkins smashed a hat-trick against Liverpool in October, and then scored against the Reds at Anfield to continue his fine form against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The 25-year-old cost Aston Villa £33million last summer, and after 14 goals last term and an England cap, Villa would be in a strong position to demand huge money from Liverpool for Watkins.

What has Klopp said about Watkins?
Liverpool boss Klopp has been impressed with Watkins in the past, branding him ‘really, really talented’ back in April.
The photo below even shows Klopp talking to Watkins on the pitch at Villa Park after his hat-trick in a 7-2 win over Liverpool.
It’s clear that Klopp loves Watkins, and that’s no shock; Watkins has bags of energy and is superb at pressing, fitting the Klopp style well.
Watkins would give Liverpool another goal threat in attack and a player for the coming years with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah edging towards their 30’s – but Villa are under no pressure to sell, making any deal hard work.
