According to The Telegraph, Aston Villa have been monitoring Norwich City’s Todd Cantwell with a view to signing him this summer.
The Villans have already raided Norwich for one of their top talents this summer, signing Emi Buendia for a club-record fee, and it seems as though Cantwell could be next.
The Midlands club are also reportedly looking at Tottenham’s Harry Winks.
Cantwell would certainly be an interesting signing for Villa.
He’s only had one season in the Premier League, but he was fantastic during that campaign with Norwich, before playing another starring role in the Championship last term.
Cantwell has been tipped for big things in the past, with Chris Sutton commenting on his potential, tipping him for a move to a top Premier League club.
“I think eventually he’ll playfor a top-six club. I think he’s got more developing to do so he can become a more rounded player, but I think he’s an exceptional, exceptional player,” Sutton said.

Winks would be another interesting signing. He hasn’t lit up the Premier League with Spurs, but so often you see players shine when they get a move to a team where they’re more likely to get minutes, and that could be the case with Winks at Villa.
Everything points towards this summer window being a very exciting one at Villa Park.
