Speaking on his YouTube channel, Goal journalist Charles Watts has shared why William Saliba’s agent was at London Colney on Tuesday.
Saliba’s agent posted on Instagram showing that he was at Arsenal’s training ground, and as you can imagine, that led to wild speculation about what was happening with the young defender and his representative.
Watts says that Saliba’s agent was indeed there to discuss his future.

Watts shared what he knows about Saliba’s agent’s meeting at Colney on Tuesday, claiming that he was there to speak about the defender’s future and the club’s plan for him.
“Talking about contracts and what’s going to be happening with certain players, William Saliba. Interestingly Saliba’s agent was at London Colney yesterday to meet with Arsenal to discuss the defender’s plans, to discuss his future and what’s next for him. I’m not sure what came out of that meeting yet, but it will be interesting to find out, if we eventually do, what exactly was laid out to Saliba’s agent,” Watts said.

Saliba’s situation at Arsenal is incredibly interesting, and we’d love to know how the club view his future.
On one hand, he’s a £27m signing who probably deserves to be given a chance, but on the other, it doesn’t look like Mikel Arteta is his biggest fan and perhaps another loan move would be best for him right now.
What happens to Saliba this summer remains to be seen, but if Ben White is indeed set to join Arsenal, he may be on the move.
