Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Franck Kessie from AC Milan, according to his agent’s comments on TMW.
Massimo Brambati haș claimed that Tottenham are among the clubs keen on signing the 24-year-old Ivory Coast international midfielder.
Brambati told TMW, as translated by Sempre Inter: “Today, having a contract expiring in 2022 with an important player, one of Milan’s strongest, is a danger. Here is a basic error by the club.
“Now [Kessie] is the one who holds the knife by the handle and can decide what is best for him rather than the club.
“I know that in addition to Inter there are two Premier League teams interested in him, including Tottenham.”

Would Franck Kessie make Tottenham better?
Kessie has been superb for Milan over the years and helped the Rossoneri finish second in the Serie A table last season.
The 24-year-old made 36 starts and one substitute appearance in Serie A last season.
The Ivory Coast international midfielder scored 13 goals and gave four assists in those matches.

Kessie also scored one goal in eight Europa League games in 2020-21.
What is remarkable is that Kessie is a defensive midfielder, but he still scored so many goals.
In 2019-20, the midfielder scored four goals in the league, while in 2018-19, he found the back of the net seven times in Serie A.
Tottenham would be better in the middle of the park with Kessie in it, especially if he can replicate his goals in the Premier League.
Kessie is rated highly by his Milan teammates.
One of them, Davide Calabria, has even said that the Ivorian is stronger than Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Football Italia quoted Calabria as saying in June 2020: “The most physically dominant? I wouldn’t say (Cristiano) Ronaldo, but rather Franck. It’s truly absurd.”
