Roy Keane has praised Arsenal star Bukayo Saka on ITV (broadcast on 27/6; 19:32).
The former Manchester United midfielder rates the Arsenal and England international star highly.
Keane has been impressed by the way the 19-year-old has stepped up every time he has been asked to perform, both for Arsenal and for England.
However, the former Republic of Ireland international does not think that England head coach Gareth Southgate will include Saka in the starting lineup against Germany in the Euro 2020 Round of 16 tie on Tuesday.
Keane said about Saka on ITV (broadcast on 27/6; 19:32): “Yeah that’s what you get with younger players. And of course, he’s been playing regularly for Arsenal, in a poor Arsenal team. But he’s doing well.
“And again, when you throw him in, he’s stepped up every time he’s been asked. But whether Gareth will trust him enough in a knockout game, I know he did well against the Czech Republic and it’s a group match and England are already qualified, I’m not quite sure Gareth has that trust yet in the kid. We’ll soon find out, but he’s done very, very well.”

Encouraging comments
Keane is not an easy pundit to please.
And that is why the Sky Sports and ITV pundit’s comments about Saka show just good the Arsenal youngster is.
Saka is a very versatile player who can play as a winger, left-back or midfielder.

The youngster was arguably the best player for Arsenal last season, and he has done well for England at the European Championship so far.
The 19-year-old started for England against the Czech Republic and was arguably the best player on the pitch.
Southgate is likely to use Saka as a substitute against Germany, but that is a great option to have for the England head coach.
