Who made Lil Nas X’s BET Awards dress?

The singer’s blue and white cinderella-Esque gown was created by Italian designer and artist Andrea Grossi.

The dressmaker is a young graduate from Polimoda Fashion Institute in Florence. He has over 11,000 followers on Instagram and is known for his out of the box designs, which he also presents at fashion shows.

The dress that Andrea created for Lil Nas had a voluminous silhouette and was a part of the designer’s collection called “Welcome to DeusLand.” However, the princess-like dress is much more than a red carpet look.

If one zooms into its graphics, they can understand that it’s meant to question our society’s customs and politics. It’s also been worn by musician David Blank when he was featured in magazines.

The rapper’s full look with this dress involved a zippered corset, a jacket, as well as white suspenders. The pieces have reportedly been crafted through sustainable techniques.

However, Lil Nas X channelled two different moods with his outfits on the red carpet during his BET 2021 awards appearance. The second saw him donned in an extravagant white floral pantsuit.

Singer’s performance explored

Aside from his statement-making outfits, fans are swooning over the Montero singer’s performance.

The performance seemed like a perfect end for Pride week and pretty much for the pride month too.
