Tana Mongeau has caused a Twitter storm after her latest tweet about Austin McBroom and the recent Social Gloves bankruptcy rumours.

The feud between the two YouTubers doesn’t seem to rest.

The two sparred on Twitter before the YouTube personality’s fight against Bryce Hall in the YouTube vs TikTok boxing event.

Tana went on to make many claims about Austin allegedly cheating on wife Catherine Piaz. Austin was quick to slam all the said claims.

For some days it seemed like the two had set the feud aside for a bit. However, recently the 23-year-old internet star threw some serious shade on the ACE Family patriarch.

Tana Mongeau shades Austin McBroom on Twitter

Referring to the ongoing Social Gloves bankruptcy controversy Tana wrote, “not austin mcbroom owning most of social gloves and then everyone being surprised people aren’t getting paid.”

The YouTuber was referring to the recent reports revealing that most of the creators/ artists who participated in the YouTube vs TikTok boxing event earlier this month have not gotten paid yet.

In her tweet Tana claimed that the former NBA player was one of the owners of Social Gloves Entertainment, the company which sponsored the June 12th Miami event.

Austin replied to Tana’s tweet saying, “Not the most desperate human being speaking on s**t she doesn’t know about. Don’t try and bring me or the event down to make you feel better about Tanacon. Every fighter including myself will be getting paid and a lawsuit is happening and it’s not with social gloves dumb dumb.”

Tana’s tweet was a result of social media stars Vinnie Hacker, Josh Richards, as well as Fouseytube claimed the participants of the event had not yet been paid.

Vinnie and Josh from the TikTok camp revealed that same on the BFFs podcast.

No sooner had the podcast episode gone live that bankruptcy rumours began to surface online.

While there have been several reports and rumours about the ACE Family star being one of the owners, he has never confirmed it himself.

Social Gloves clears bankruptcy rumours

The company took to its social media platforms and released a statement in the aftermath of the bankruptcy rumours. It stated that they’re trying to pay every participant from the Battle of the Platforms event. The statement also read that they were trying to do so within a ‘reasonable timeframe’.

The statement also revealed that they had hired a leading accounting firm as well as ‘a first-class forensic auditor” for the purpose.

In that statement, they further requested the participants to send them the receipts of the money they owed them, as it would help them in the verification process.

In addition to this Austin also spoke in defense of the company. The former NBA athlete said, “We all know social gloves put on one of the biggest social media events in history as all of you watched.”

He further said, “The real numbers will come out soon.”

Twitter reacts to the controversy

The feud left Twitter divided with some coming out in Austin’s support while others claiming Tana was right.

Replying to Tana one user wrote, “Tana you are so problematic.”

A second one said, “Sit this one would babe cuz we haven’t forgotten Tanacon.”

A third user spoke in support of Tana, while dissing the ACE Family. The tweet said, “If y’all are still buying anything that the Ace Family puts out that’s on y’all. They have never launched anything that didn’t come with a scandal and fake promises. People not getting what they paid for, people getting scammed.”
