Manchester United are reportedly open to selling Donny van de Beek amid interest from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, according to ESPN.

Arsenal interest

Arsenal have been linked with a move for United midfielder van de Beek.

90min reported earlier this month that Arsenal have made contact with Premier League rivals United regarding a potential transfer of the Netherlands international midfielder.

Manchester United stance

ESPN are now reporting that United are willing to sell the 24-year-old at the right price.

The Red Devils will consider offers for the midfielder, who cost them £40 million last summer.

As for the player himself, the Dutchman is claimed to be willing to stay at Old Trafford and fight for his place in the team.

Arsenal transfer this summer?

It may sound unlikely now that Van de Beek will join Arsenal, but anything is possible in the summer transfer window.

Absolutely anything.

The United no.34 struggled last season and was a peripheral figure at the club.

The 24-year-old played just 515 minutes in the Premier League and 277 minutes in the Champions League for the Red Devils.

Van de Beek may be willing to stay at Old Trafford now, but if United decide to cash in on him, there is nothing much that he can do.
