If you hoping to see it this year, let’s explore why this one is important and the spiritual meaning behind it.
When is it?
The final supermoon of 2021 is coming on Thursday, June 24th, 2021.
It will peak at at 2:40 pm ET. This means that it will appear at different times for other time zones.
For example, people in the UK can see it around 7:40 pm on June 24th, while the moon will be visible in India in the early hours of Friday, June 25th.
The Strawberry Moon will appear full for nearly three days this time, from early Wednesday morning until early Saturday morning.
Strawberry Moon in Capricorn and spiritual meaning explored
The energy of the final supermoon inspires all zodiac sign to reap the benefits of the hard work and effort they have put in recently.
This is the time to bring work-related things to a close and enjoy the opportunities ahead, whether this is landing your dream job or getting the promotion you have worked for.
Allure reports that people can use Capricorn’s energy to “for the money or recognition that you deserve”. This time is also good for starting a new role or job, or settling down in a new relationship.
The moon arrives at a very important point, just after the Summer Solstice on June 21st and the start of Cancer season.
Why is it called like that?
Strawberry Moon comes from the ripening of “June-bearing” strawberries, The Old Farmer’s Almanac says.
June is a month when many summer fruits ripen and flowers bloom that are ready for people to collect.
The name used by The Old Farmer’s Almanac comes from several different places, including Native American, Colonial American, and European sources, the site has added.
