According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are set to miss out with Sassuolo midfielder Locatelli nearing a move to Juventus.
Locatelli has been starring in Italy with Sassuolo having left AC Milan, but he’s really boosted his profile by turning in great displays at Euro 2020.
With two goals against Switzerland last week, Locatelli has his the headlines – and unsurprisingly finds himself a wanted man as a result.
Tottenham and Arsenal chase Locatelli
North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal both fancy Locatelli; Gazzetta Dello Sport noted that Spurs had joined the race because new director of football Fabio Paratici is a big fan.
Gazzetta also noted that Arsenal were not only keen, but that Edu was set to make a £34million bid to bring Locatelli to England this summer.
Both sides need quality in midfield, but both sides look set to miss out with Locatelli, whose priority is believed to be Juventus.

Juventus look set to win race
Sky now suggest that Juventus are progressing well with their talks over a deal for Locatelli, with real belief that he is now heading to Turin.
Juventus are hoping to strike a two-year loan deal with an obligation to buy, whilst defender Radu Dragusin would head to Sassuolo as a makeweight.
There may still be time for Tottenham and Arsenal to hijack the move, but with Locatelli wanting a move to Juve, the North London duo may need to look elsewhere.
