There’s a new viral trend that’s taking over TikTok this week. It’s called ‘Hello My Name Is Zuzie’, and here’s how to do it.

All of the best TikTok trends involve pets. There’s just something about watching a puppy, hamster, monkey or cat do a viral challenge that is too cute.

The Unflattering Dog Photo Challenge, the Put Your Dog on a Diet trend and the Disney Eyes Filter are just a few of TikTok’s most popular pet-related trends.

Now, there’s a new one to add to the mix, and we’re going to tell you all about it.

What is the ‘Hello My Name Is Zuzie’ trend?

TikTok’s latest viral trend is the ‘Hello My Name Is Zuzie’ challenge, and this one is a little odd.

Essentially, it involves filming someone, be it a person or an animal, and playing the song Ew by Baby Kaely which features the lyrics ‘Hello My Name Is Zuzie’.

When the song reaches a certain point, you use a filter to zoom into the person’s eyes. Why, I hear you ask? Your guess is as good as ours.

The trend is pretty pointless, but it’s entertaining TikTok users nonetheless.

How to do the ‘Hello My Name Is Zuzie’ trend

To do the zoom part of the trend, you need to use a specific filter. Although it’s not actually a filter at all, it’s a TikTok sticker.

Her’s how to do it…

  • Film or upload your TikTok video.
  • Tap ‘stickers’ in the bottom bar.
  • Under the ‘recommended’ heading, you will see an icon that looks like a photo with a circle over it (see image below).
  • Follow these steps again to add a second circle (one for each eye).
  • Place both circles over the person’s eyes to magnify them.

People are doing the trend on their pets

All of the best TikTok videos revolve around dogs, and the ‘Hello My Name Is Zuzie’ went viral when people started getting their pooches involved.

Placing those little magnify stickers over a dog’s eyes is just so adorable, and TikTok users are obsessed with it.

The trend isn’t limited to just dogs and people either. You can do it on anything that has eyes. Hamsters, lizards, even hedgehogs!
