According to AS, Arsenal have already spoken to the representatives of Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak in the hope of teeing up a deal.
With Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah potentially on the move this summer, Arsenal need to have striker targets in mind in case one leaves.
Sweden star Isak is shining at Euro 2020, and is now believed to be one of Arsenal’s top targets if they do sign a striker this summer.
Arsenal’s move for Isak
It’s stated that Arsenal have spoken to Isak’s representatives, and have suggested that they will do everything they can to sign him if he’s interested.
Arsenal would allegedly even be willing to pay the full release clause if they receive encouragement from Isak’s representatives.
That clause stands at €70million (£60million), meaning Arsenal would have to dig deep to pull off a deal, but they seemingly feel it’s worth it after seeing Isak score 17 goals in 34 La Liga games last season.

Chelsea are a major threat
Arsenal’s London rivals appear to be in the market for another striker this summer, and they’re being linked with their own move for Isak.
AS reported last weekend that Chelsea fancy signing Isak, and he has already worked with boss Thomas Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund.
Chelsea have Champions League football and a potentially bigger budget, so whilst Arsenal are pushing for Isak, they may not be favourites for his signature.
