Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are interested in signing Lorenzo Insigne from Napoli in the summer transfer window, according to Il Mattino.
What’s the story?
Premier League trio Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea are keeping tabs on Napoli star Insigne.
The 30-year-old winger will become a free agent at the end of next season, and no new deal is in place yet.
This has opened the door for Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, although it must be noted that Spurs Managing Director Fabio Paratici is claimed to have ruled out a move for Insigne.
Napoli want the Italy international to sign a new deal and continue to play for the Serie A club.
What kind of a player is Lorenzo Insigne?
Insigne has been on the books of Napoli his entire professional club football career so far.
The 30-year-old is loved and adored by the Naples outfit’s fans, who would love to see him stay at the club for the rest of his career.
The Italian is a right-footed winger, but he is often deployed on the left.
Insigne can also operate in a more central attacking role and has an eye for goal.

The Napoli no.24 scored 19 goals and gave seven assists in Serie A last season.
The winger score eight goals and provided six assists in the league in 2019-20.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a fan of the Italian, and was quoted as saying by Goal in April 2019 that he “is a very good player”.
