West Ham United need to find another striker this summer, with Sevilla ace Youssef En-Nesyri no doubt on the radar yet again.

The Hammers sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax in January without replacing him, and David Moyes must find another striker to support Michail Antonio ahead of next season.

A number of names have been linked, and a top January target was Sevilla star En-Nesyri after a superb season in Spain.

West Ham’s interest in En-Nesyri

The Daily Star (20/06, p43) reported that West Ham made a bid for En-Nesyri in January and they’re still interested in securing his signature.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have joined the race though, and could put £35million on the table to bring the Moroccan to Molineux ahead of West Ham.

The Hammers at least have Europa League football, but they will have to dig deep in order to sign En-Nesyri.

The 24-year-old hit 24 goals in 52 games last season, emerging as one of Europe’s top strikers.

En-Nesyri’s agent comments on his future

The former Leganes hitman could be on the move this summer, and his agent has spoken to El Desmarques about the transfer window.

A mystery club are believed to have joined Wolves and West Ham in the race, but En-Nesyri doesn’t want to leave Sevilla this summer, meaning they may have to look elsewhere.

“We don’t want to hear any offer,” said Anass Ouzifi. “There are three teams from England but he doesn’t want to go. We don’t want to talk about this issue because En-Nesyri doesn’t want to leave the Seville and stays this year in Seville,” he added.
