Aston Villa central defender Tyrone Mings has said on England’s YouTube channel that he has been blown away by Tottenham Hotspur’s training ground.

The England national team are now training at Tottenham’s Hotspur Way.

Gareth Southgate’s side are preparing for their final Euro 2020 Group D game against the Czech Republic on Tuesday.

The Three Lions will head into the match on the back of a goalless draw with Scotland at Wembley Stadium in London.

Mings – who is part of the England squad and cost Villa £20 million in transfer fees, according to Sky Sports – has been stunned by Tottenham’s training facilities.

The Villa star said on England’s YouTube channel: “Yeah, I have never been here before in this unbelievable set-up. I thought we had a good training ground until I came here.”

Huge praise

Mings need not have been so effusive in his praise of Hotspur Way.

The England international central defender could have just said that Tottenham have a lovely training facility and left it at that.

That Mings was gushing over Spurs’ training ground shows the quality of it.

Tottenham may not been doing well on the pitch and are still searching for a permanent manager, but the infrastructure they have is great.

Spurs have one of the best stadiums on the planet. The training ground is world class.
