Adama Traore’s name is seemingly on the transfer wishlist of the likes of Leeds United and Liverpool this summer.

But he hasn’t been able to showcase his talents at Euro 2020, with Luis Enrique opting to leave the dribbling expert on the bench for both of Spain’s games.

Eurosport have claimed in June that Leeds are willing to smash their transfer record for Traore’s talents, whilst Liverpool have been long-admirers of the winger, according to 90min.

And if Traore wanted to show why he is such a sought-after figure, well warming the Spanish bench has prevented him from doing that.

Spain have picked up two draws – a goalless draw against Sweden followed up by a 1-1 draw against Poland on Saturday – and even though the last 20 minutes have been crying out for the Wolves man’s talents, he hasn’t been used.

Traore may lack that final-ball quality, decision-making and common sense in the final third, but he would still frighten the life out of opposition defenders when out on the pitch.

Enrique’s side are packed with technical talent, and whilst Alvaro Morata hasn’t provided them with that cutting-edge upfront, that spark and speed on the flanks has also been missing.

Therefore, it’s understandable why supporters have been left baffled that the 100-meter-like sprinter hasn’t even been used for a single minute during this tournament.

Even if Traore lacks that cutting-edge when coming onto the field, his pace alone makes defenders think differently and he brings a sense of panic to their station.

But when Traore isn’t allowed on board then he is being a wasted talent.

Nonetheless, here is a selection of supporters reacting to the call on Traore last night:
