Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Tottenham have approached former Barcelona head coach Valverde.
The 57-year-old is without a managerial job at the moment, having been sacked by Barcelona in January 2020.
Tottenham are searching for a new manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in April.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Romano has claimed that Tottenham have approached the Spaniard.
