Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has praised reported Arsenal target Aaron Ramsdale on England’s YouTube channel.
Pickford is pleased to see Ramsdale part of the England squad for the ongoing Euro 2020 finals.
The Sheffield United goalkeeper recently replaced Manchester United star Dean Henderson due to injury to the latter.
Pickford said on England’s YouTube channel: “Ramsdale is brilliant. I have played against him for a few years, he has been in the Under-21 set-up. It’s a great honour.”
Arsenal speculation
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been linked with a move for Ramsdale.
The Sun reported earlier this week that Arsenal want to sign the 23-year-old goalkeeper in the summer transfer window.
The Blades, who were relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, want £20 million as transfer fee.
The future of Bernd Leno is uncertain, while Mat Ryan’s loan spell from Brighton and Hove Albion has ended.

Encouraging comments
Pickford is the first-choice goalkeeper for England and is a big player for Everton.
The 27-year-old’s praise for Ramsdale shows the kind of goalkeeper Arsenal will get.
Having played against the 23-year-old in the Premier League and at youth level, Pickford knows how good he is.
Ramsdale is only 23, and he will get better and improve in the coming years.
Signing the Englishman for £20 million could prove to be a bargain for Arsenal in the long run.
