The Guardian has reported that Tottenham have opened talks with Gattuso over becoming their new manager.
Talks with Paulo Fonseca have broken down, and Spurs now want to bring in the former Rangers midfielder.
The Italian was appointed the Fiorentina manager just over three weeks ago.
However, the 43-year-old has left the Italian club and is now on the market.
Tottenham are on the hunt for a permanent manager to replace Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho was sacked as the Tottenham boss in April and is now in charge of AS Roma.
It seems that Tottenham have decided to bring the former AC Milan midfielder to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as manager of the first team.
