Reported Arsenal target Odsonne Edouard is considering staying at Celtic, according to The Daily Mail.
The Daily Record reported in May that Arsenal are interested in signing the striker, who cost Celtic £8 million in transfer fees when they signed him on a permanent contract from Paris Saint-Germain in 2018.
The report claimed that the 23-year-old Frenchman has told Celtic that he wants to leave.
Change of stance
However, The Daily Mail are now reporting that Edouard is considering staying at Celtic.
The striker has one more year left on his current deal.
The former PSG man is considering fulfilling his contract at Celtic and then leaving on a free next summer.
This follows Leicester City backing away from a potential deal for Edouard, who is valued at £25 million by Celtic.

Door opens for Arsenal?
Edouard seems determined to leave, either this summer or the next.
Leicester reportedly backing away from a transfer and moving onto RB Salzburg striker Patson Daka opens the door for Arsenal.
Of course, Arsenal still need to pay £25 million for the striker – described as “world class” by his Celtic teammate David Turnbull in The Daily Record in February 2021 – but at least they will not have to compete with Leicester.
Edouard scored 16 goals and gave three assists in the Scottish Premiership and scored two goals in the Europa League for Celtic last season.
