According to Tuttosport, Fabio Paratici now wants to bring Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Paratici was appointed as Tottenham’s managing director of football on Saturday, and seems to be linked with signing a different player from Serie A every day.
The Italian press are going wild linking their star players with Spurs, and it’s Vlahovic’s turn today.
Tottenham’s interest in Vlahovic deal
It’s claimed that Paratici is looking at potential striker signings given the concern over Harry Kane’s long-term future at Tottenham.
One of the targets is Vlahovic, who excelled for Fiorentina last season with 21 goals and three assists in 37 games, becoming one of the top young strikers in Europe.
What has been said about Vlahovic?
Ex-Manchester City striker Valeri Bojinov – who played with Vlahovic at Partizan Belgrade – claims the youngster has branded himself the ‘new Zlatan Ibrahimovic’; a very confident suggestion.

Last weekend, another ex-City forward – this time Stevan Jovetic – stated that Vlahovic will be alongside Erling Haaland as the top striker in Europe over the coming years.
What about Liverpool?
Tottenham understandably aren’t alone in chasing Vlahovic, and whilst the report focuses on Paratici battling former club Juventus for the Serbian, Liverpool have to be factored in too.
Inside Futbol reported in April that Liverpool have been in advanced talks for Vlahovic in the hope of luring him to Anfield.
Spurs surely can’t afford a deal for Vlahovic unless Kane leaves, and with lofty competition for his signature, Paratici is certainly aiming high.
