Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are heralding the news about Fabio Paratici.
On Saturday evening, Spurs revealed that they had hired the Italian as a manging director.
Paratici is joining Tottenham from Juventus after winning 19 trophies in his 11-year spell as the Italian giants’ sporting director.
Lilywhites chairman Daniel Levy calls the shots on transfers and will ultimately have the final say.
But having an experienced head like Paratici could certainly help Tottenham on the recruitment side of things going forward.
His arrival represents some much-needed stability following a very rocky last two months which has resulted in Jose Mourinho’s dismissal and calls for Levy to resign following the botched European Super League venture.
But with Paulo Fonseca set to follow Paratici to North London, Tottenham can finally start rebuilding after what was a dismal 2020-21 campaign.
