Euro 2020 isn’t the only major international competition taking place this summer with Copa America going ahead in Brazil – and Rangers fans will be keen to see Alfredo Morelos get his chance to shine for his country.

Morelos was named in Reinaldo Rueda’s 28-man squad earlier this week after returning to training following a positive Covid-19 test.

Colombia are one of the favourites to win the competition and El Bufalo will be hoping he can fire the goals that take Los Cafeteros’ to their first success since 2001.

Morelos missed out on a place in the squad two years ago despite his impressive club form but with the likes of James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao missing, the Rangers star has a massive opportunity.

Rangers fans are hopeful the Colombian goal machine can continue his impressive club form and add to the single goal he’s netted for his country in ten appearances so far as he fires them to success.

With plenty of football on TV thanks to Euro 2020, Rangers fans will have a few late nights ahead if they want to watch Morelos in action live.
