Tony Cascarino told talkSPORT on Thursday morning that Tottenham will ‘get sold’ before their rivals Arsenal.

The ex-Republic of Ireland striker thinks Tottenham’s current situation ‘just stinks’ and he believes Joe Lewis will sell before the under-fire Kroenke’s at Arsenal.

There have been attempts by Spotify owner, Daniel Ek, to buy Arsenal, but that has seemingly been brushed aside by the club’s American owners.

And as Spurs enter their 52nd day without a manager and all the chaos that’s going with it, Cascarino shared his thoughts on Spurs and their rivals.

“I really believe, and I have said this before, Arsenal are up for sale,” said Cascarino. “I bet my bottom dollar, Tottenham gets sold before Arsenal.

“I really think that would happen. The club just stinks. Upstairs, there is a lot going on and I think there’s a bigger objective for Joe Lewis at the football club.

“And it could be selling that football club.”

It’s not exactly rose in the North London garden, and both Tottenham and Arsenal fans, for once, would be in agreement with one thing – they want those running their club out of the door.

But it seems quite a difficult task for the supporters to push either out of the exit door, even after their woeful 2020/21 Premier League campaigns.

It was no doubt much worse for Arsenal because they finished without any European football for the first time in 25 years.

Plus, they have hardly ever seen eye-to-eye with the Kroenke’s since they stepped foot into the Emirates Stadium.

The same cannot be said for Daniel Levy and Joe Lewis, who whilst Mauricio Pochettino was at the club, were popular, but now it has gone sour pretty quickly.
