Frenemies had always been popular for Trisha and Ethan’s unique relationship. The two had managed to put their differences aside and come together for the podcast. The time that they had been active, the podcast managed to gain a lot of followers.

On June 8, Ethan confirmed that the podcast had been cancelled. He said: “At the end of the day, Frenemies was a beautiful experiment that I will always cherish. I’ve learned and grown so much from the experience and have Trisha to thank for that. She’s been a dear friend of mine throughout, and I’ll always be grateful for all she’s done for us.”

In the video, Trisha said there were no hard feelings between they and Ethan. However, after the release of the video, Ethan broke his silence on Twitter. He admitted the video came as an unexpected surprise.
Ethan said: “I am honestly gutted over this whole thing, Trisha’s video this morning was a total surprise to me. I don’t really know what more I can say or do. I’m very sorry to all the fans of frenemies, I know how much it meant to everyone, I did everything I humanly could to save it.”
Following this, Ethan seemed to reflect on his words after announcing the cancellation of his podcast. In another tweet, he said: “Erased most of my recent tweets regarding Trisha – shouldn’t have said that on Twitter – I’m going to take a step back for the evening.”
