West Ham United are keen to sign David Zima from Slavia Prague, but he wants assurances that he will get game time at the London Stadium.
The Athletic say that West Ham are keen on the Czech Republic defender, with their scouts having close eyes on his progress.
West Ham have already brought in Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal from Slavia Prague in recent times, and both have been huge hits.
They now apparently feel that Zima could also be a good fit in the Premier League.
Zima is a giant defender, who has played a part in a Slavia side who have a great defensive record.
It seems that the youngster has no burning desire to join his old teammates at West Ham though.
First team at West Ham?
While the move could appeal, he would also be happy to stay at Slavia, unless David Moyes promises him regular games.
That could be possible at West Ham, although he would have strong competition for places.
Angelo Ogbonna, Issa Diop, Craig Dawson and Fabian Balbuena are all already at the club.
But Moyes seems to want another defender, as West Ham look to solidify their options for a European campaign.
