Leeds United have been linked with Glen Kamara, and former Ibrox star Alex Rae’s verdict on the Rangers midfielder will encourage the Elland Road faithful.
The Daily Mail reported in April interest from Leeds in signing Kamara from Rangers in the summer transfer window.
Former Rangers star Rae is a big fan of the ex-Arsenal prospect, and he has raved about the 25-year-old Finland international midfielder.
Rae told The Glasgow Evening Times: “I think Kamara will stand out. Borna Barisic has done well and it will be interesting as we play against Croatia. But I really like Kamara – technically, he’s fantastic. And when you think he only cost 50 grand – it was an absolute snip.
“I was at Dundee before him but I’ve watched him from afar. I watch him in Europe where you’ve got to keep a hold of the ball and he can keep a hold of a ball in a phone box!”
Glen Kamara to leave Rangers for Leeds United?
Kamara has been superb for Rangers and played a big role in the Gers winning the Scottish Premiership title this past season.
The former Dundee midfielder made 23 starts and five substitute appearances in the league this past campaign.

The 25-year-old scored one goal and gave one assist in those games.
Rangers could play in the Champions League next season, and it is unlikely that manager Steven Gerrard will want to sell Kamara.
However, Leeds are in the Premier League and have a world-class manager in Marcelo Bielsa.
Kamara is 25 now, and he could be tempted to return to England, having failed to break into the Arsenal first team earlier in his career.
