Stephen Graham’s wife stars in the BBC series Time. So, let’s get to know Hannah Walters, considering her Instagram and previous roles.

Audiences have been invited to check out lots of great TV so far this year and the latest title to capture attention is Time.

Premiering on BBC One from Sunday, June 6th 2021, this limited series promises magnificent performances, with Stephen Graham (The Irishman) and Sean Bean (Game of Thrones) in the central roles.

Focusing its lens on the prison system, Stephen has said of the drama: “As Jimmy [McGovern – the creator] said, we need to look at the penal system… [The series is] putting a mirror to society and going, ‘Not sure if we’re getting this right.’ So maybe that’s why it’s difficult to watch, because it makes you think.”

Upon its release, it’s worth highlighting the career of Stephen Graham’s wife.

Who is Stephen Graham’s wife?

Stephen Graham’s wife – Hannah Walters – also stars in Time, taking the role of Sonia, the wife of Stephen Graham’s character.

Director Lewis Arnold said of the real-life couple playing partners in Time: “Hannah has all the credit. Hannah auditioned for the part like everybody else and she was phenomenal. We loved her energy and we loved her understanding of the character. She was phenomenal and we were really blessed and lucky to have her.”

On landing the role, Hannah herself has said:

“I read everything before Stephen actually reads it. That’s what happened in this instance, the same as it usually happens. As soon as I read it, I was just blown away. I couldn’t stop reading it from the minute I started. I didn’t for one moment see myself as Sonia.

She added: “I just said to Stephen: ‘Whoever plays Sonia, has got to be super, super natural and real in this part.’”

Stephen and Hannah married in 2008 and have two children, Alfie and Grace.
