According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Tottenham Hotspur are imposing staff restrictions on potential new boss Antonio Conte.
Conte has suddenly become the hot favourite to replace Jose Mourinho at Tottenham having left Inter Milan last week.
This isn’t an easy deal, and Spurs will not only have to commit big money to make it happen, but also convince Conte that this is the right project for him.
Di Marzio claims that there is a slight issue. Tottenham will only allow Conte to bring four members of staff to North London with him, and Conte is still weighing up the move.
There are a number of coaches who you would assume Conte will want; Inter technical coach Paolo Vanoli is one of them, having worked with Conte with Italy, Chelsea and Inter.
Fitness coaches Julio Tous and Constantino Coratti were both with Conte in all three jobs too, whilst brother Gianluca Conte has served as a technical coach in every job Antonio has held so far.

Rehabilitation coach Stefano Bruno goes back to Bari and Atalanta with Conte, so he may well be wanted too, as may assistant Cristian Stellini having worked together with Siena, Juve and Inter.
That’s six coaches that have strong ties with Conte, yet Tottenham only want him to bring four with him.
Just why they’ve imposed that sanction remains to be seen, but there may be two odd men out from Conte’s preferred backroom staff.
