According to The Telegraph, Champions League clubs now believe they can sign Manchester City ace Bernardo Silva this summer.
City are allegedly planning to rebuild their squad this summer having fallen short of winning the Champions League, losing in the final to Chelsea.
Silva is thought to be one of the players primed for the chopping block, four years after joining from Monaco for around £43million.
The report claims that Champions League sides in Spain, France and Italy now believe that they can sign Silva this summer.
Silva has been one of Pep Guardiola’s favourite players at Manchester City, and he called him ‘so intelligent’ earlier this season, as well as ‘the biggest star’ in 2019.
The Portuguese playmaker undoubtedly has huge talent, but City fans may feel that they want to see more from him in the final third.

He works incredibly hard off the ball, but managed just two goals and six assists in the Premier League last season; for a player of his ability, that isn’t quite enough of an impact going forward.
With his 27th birthday approaching, City may now feel that the time is right for him to move on – and other clubs are sensing an opportunity to pounce.
