A dad and his young daughter have taken over TikTok this week after they shut down critical race theory in a viral video.

Over the past few months, an ongoing debate has been taking place about whether critical race theory, an academic framework that says that racism is a social construct that’s ingrained in all parts of life, should be taught in schools.

One person who opposes critical race theory, and thinks it definitely shouldn’t be taught to children is Kory Yeshua, and he sat down with his daughter on TikTok to share a very important message.

This week, he’s gone viral for one particular video.

Kory and his daughter have gone viral on TikTok

Kory has gone viral on TikTok this week after he taught his young daughter a very important lesson about race.

In the clip, he sat down with his daughter and said: “Daddy teaches you can be anything in this world that you want to be… right? Don’t daddy teach you that?”

His daughter then replied: “And it doesn’t matter if you’re black or white or if you’re any colour.”

“It doesn’t matter if you’re black, white, yellow, black… and how we treat people is based on who they are,” Kory added to which she replied: “And if they’re nice or smart.”

Then he opposed critical race theory

In the second half of the video, Kory went on to discuss and oppose critical race theory.

Critical race theory is an academic framework that essentially argues that racism is a social construct that is embedded within social, cultural and legal issues.

Recently, there has been an ongoing debate in America about whether it should be taught in schools or not.

In the TikTok video, Kory opposed Critical Race Theory, arguing that children “do not see skin colour” and shouldn’t be taught about racism.

“See, this is how children think right here…critical race theory wants to end that. Not with my children. It’s not gonna happen. My baby’s gonna know that no matter what she wants to be in life, all she has to do is work hard, and she can become that.”

“Work hard, even though you don’t know anyone you can make friends,” his daughter added.

“Yeah you can make friends, no matter what colour they are. So, we need to stop CRT, period, point blank. Children do not see skin colour man, they love everybody. If they’re good people, they love them,” he concluded.
