According to Tutto Mercato Web, Tottenham are in negotiations with Fabio Paratici in regards to becoming the club’s Director of Football.
Paratici – who’s role is otherwise known as a Sporting Director – recently left Juventus after 11 seasons in Turin.
Now, as talks commence with Antonio Conte, Daniel Levy is interested in adding another Italian to his project in north London.
Tutto Mercato Web describe Tottenham’s approach to Paratici as ‘concrete’ – Spurs sound keen to get him in quickly.
Currently, Steve Hitchen – Tottenham’s Technical Performance Director – oversees a role similar to what Paratici had at Juventus.
However, the Evening Standard believe Hitchen’s job could be under threat if the Italian puts pen to paper on a deal at Tottenham.

What’s Paratici’s track record like?
Interestingly, the Sporting Director took advantage of many free transfers while at Juventus.
Paratici signed Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Dani Alves, Aaron Ramsey, Emre Can and Sami Khedira all on free transfers.
That is, quite simply, incredible business.

He also knows how to lure Europe’s best, having splashed the cash to sign Matthijs de Ligt and Cristiano Ronaldo.
If Tottenham can get Paratici to north London, supporters can expect some exciting signings to arrive at Spurs, in our view.
